This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the principles and practices of artificial intelligence (AI), emphasizing both the theoretical underpinnings of AI and hands-on experiments. Students will explore AI topics, including heuristic search, logic reasoning, knowledge representation, planning, reasoning with uncertainty, game playing, statistical learning, neural networks, natural language processing, intelligent agents, etc. These concepts will be reinforced through programming assignments in Prolog and data processing using various learning algorithms.
