This course will be a production-heavy class in writing, editing, and testing software documentation. Initially, students will learn software documentation writing patterns, gain familiarity in HTML, CSS, Markdown, and Python, and practice web design principles. Students will then develop software documentation in teams and create software documentation websites with a static website generator that can be hosted on Github. No experience with web design or Python programming is necessary for this course.
